mproving the understanding, practice, and appreciation learners about the religion of Islam, so Muslims who became a man of faith and piety to Allah SWT Almighty and glorious character in personal life, society, nation and State. Meanwhile a religious education for learning takes place presumably feels less related or less ..concern..towards the question of how to turn knowledge of religion is becoming a "cognitive significance" and "values" that need to be internalized within the learners to move, do, and behave in concrete-it was written in the life of everyday practice.In the study of Islamic religious education should always pay attention to the problems of a growing problem-in everyday life as well as participate find a way out of the problem in accordance with the Qur'an and Hadith.Therefore, the study of Islamic religious education should be trying to increase the quality of teachers, method development, media, content, teaching strategies and so on.This research used the qualitative research which aims to improve the quality of learning of Islamic studies through the application of the model of learning problem based learning (problem-based learning).
